Joyce E. Eisenhard, 84, of Macungie, died Dec. 11, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of James E. Eisenhard Sr. for 65 years in May. Born in Trexlertown, she was a daughter of the late Fred B. Sr. and Harriet S. (Lightcap) Selig.

Along with her husband and son she operated the J & E Trucking Company for many years.

One of her greatest joys was attending any event her grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated in.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Breinigsville. She was active with church council, choir and numerous committees. She was a board member of the Women of the ELCA.

She is survived by her husband; son, James E. Jr. and his wife, Anita; a sister, Gloria M. Selig; grandchildren, Amanda and her husband, Steven Mesko; Katie and her husband, Anthony Pisauro; Jesse and his wife, Jodi; great-grandchildren, Sarabeth, Sophia, Sydney, Ellie, Hazel, Olivia, Jaxon and Emmalyn. She was predeceased by daughters, Susan and Diana; a brother, Fred B. Jr. and a sister, Nanette L. Farrel.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 18 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 8227 Hamilton Blvd., Breinigsville. Calling hours will begin 9 a.m.

Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville, is handling arrangements.
