Joseph “Tiger” Sinkovits, 93, of Coplay, died Nov. 30, 2021. He was the husband of Theresa (Schatz) Sinkovits for 68 years.

Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary (Gabriel) Sinkovits.

He was a 1946 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

He was stationed in Munich during the Korean conflict in the 43rd Division of the 102nd Infantry, Headquarters Company. He was a master sergeant.

He was a computer programmer for more than 35 years at the former Western Electric from which he retired in 1993.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Donna of Coplay and Joe and his wife Liane of Whitehall; two grandchildren, Aaron and Lynn; a great-grandchild, Madelyn Conti; a sister, Mary Molchany of Coplay; and a brother, Robert and his wife Ann of Whitehall.

Services will be private.
