Jennie Kovalchick, 96, of Allentown, died Dec. 7, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late John Kovalchick. Born in Mary D, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Janiuk) Dumanski.

She worked as a seamstress and homemaker.

She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses Central Congregation, Allentown.

She will be remembered as always offering her home to anyone who was hungry and tending to her garden.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia Semprini and Jennifer Riedel; sisters, Stella Owsley, Theresa Kauffman and Lillian Hummel; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Yvonne Guard, brothers and sisters.
