Christina “Carol” Connolly, 80, of Walnutport, died Nov. 30, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Martin A. Connolly for 52 years.

Born in New Brunswick, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Wilbur N. and Christina (Nickas) Romer.

She volunteered at the Northern Lehigh Food Bank and considered this her job.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Matthew Hopkins of Milltown, N.J., and Marty Connolly and his wife Dorothy of Walnutport; two daughters, Christy and her husband Peter Kady of Jamesburg, N.J., and Beth Anne Connolly of Haines City, Fla.; a sister, Hope and her husband Adam Tarnowski of Princeton, N.J.; 10 grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Sara, Ashley, Caitlin, Ashley, Nicole, Danielle, Noah and Benjamin; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Robert Hopkins; and a sister, Margo Johnson.
