Carl C. Edwards, 76, of Allen Township, died Nov. 30, 2021, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Judith Kay (Jeppesen) Edwards.

Born in Lake Ariel, he was a son of the late Gerald W. and Ida E. (Chapman) Edwards.

He was a computer consultant/technician for the past 54 years, lastly employed at Great West Casualty Company of South Sioux City, Neb.

He was a longtime member of Northampton Assembly of God, where he was a deacon for 40 years, an adult Sunday school leader and was on many committees.

He was a former member of the Allen Township Board of Supervisors. He was a member of the Sons of the Confederate J.E.B. Stuart camp 1602. He was an assistant delegate for the Republican National Convention in 2000.

He is survived by a son, Daniel G. of Northampton; five grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew.
