St. Luke’s University Health Network is opening its School of Phlebotomy in January to develop highly skilled, patient-focused phlebotomists seeking a rewarding career. “The curriculum features strong hands-on training which is crucial for phlebotomy students,” Elizabeth Taylor, Director, Outpatient Lab Services, Network, System Services, said.
The school of Phlebotomy is located in the St. Luke’s Center at 1110 St. Luke’s Way, Allentown. The 12 week program has three sessions. Session 1: Jan. 10 - April 1, 2022; Session 2: April 18 - July 8, 2022; and Session 3: Aug. 29 - Nov. 18, 2022.
The SLUHN School of Phlebotomy is approved by the American Medical Technologists, a nonprofit certification agency and professional membership association, and adheres to the AMT’s stringent standards.
