Florence L. Mesko, 94, of Bethlehem, died on December 5, 2021, at her residence. Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Lottie (Laganosky) Lash.

She recently passed her driver’s test and renewed her license at the age of 93.

She taught herself to crochet, sew and knit. She made clothing for dolls that she collected as well as other items.

She is survived by four daughters, Sharyn (Dr. William) Brunk, Janice (Richard) Rice, Debra (Michael) Haag and Nanette (Reed) Marks; a brother, John O’Malia; nine grandchildren, Christa, Kimberly, Shannon, Kelly, Rebecca, Aaron, Erica, Lori and Christopher; and nine great-grandchildren, John, Ashley, Matthew, Mason, Elias, Noah, Quinn, Bennett and Emmalyn.

She was predeceased by a sister, Bernice Schultz; and a brother, Fred Lash.
