Charles “Butch” F. Krenos Jr., of Bethlehem Township, died at home Dec. 8, 2021, after a battle with cancer. Born in Fountain Hill the son of Charles F. Krenos, Sr. and Irene K. (Favinger) Krenos. He was the husband of Ellen E. (Bartos) Krenos for 44 years.
He a 1973 Liberty HS graduate and of Bethlehem Area VoTech from which he graduatede in electrical electronics.
He worked for more than 35 years in the electrical department of the City of Bethlehem. He was 23-year master electrician and a 30 years-plus electrical contractor. He was on the Electrician’s Examining Board for the city since 2015. He was a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.
He belonged to the Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church Miller Heights.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Amanda E. of West Chester; a son, Christopher R. of Bethlehem Township; a sister, Sharon M. (Krenos) Ondush and her husband Michael; an uncle, Anthony Favinger and his wife Karen (Lechler); nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and many friends and coworkers. He was a grandson of Joseph and Theresa Krenos and Helen and Raymond Favinger.
