Bernard Charles Nemeth, 70, of Bethlehem, died Nov. 30, 2021, at his residence. Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Mary (Wechsler) and Joseph Nemeth.
He earned a BA in education, focusing in biology, from Kutztown State Teachers College. He later earned a master of education from Temple University.
He taught science for seven years at Nitschmann and East Hills middle schools. He then was general manager for the former Eichler’s Wood Products, Laurys Station, for 19 years. He was the Quality, Safety and Administration director at Oldcastle Easton, for four years.
He was a member of Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
He was an avid bicyclist and just completed his 6,000 mile mark for this year.
He is survived by a brother, Thomas Nemeth and his wife Maryann of Slatington; nieces; nephews; grand-nieces; and grand-nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph; and two sisters, Magdalene Altemose and Agnes Verenna.
