·Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, Fountain Hill and South Whitehall, needs auxiliary members. This group raises money to purchase special things for the residents throughout the year. New members will begin having monthly meetings in 2022.

·Christkindlmarkt, SteelStacks, Southside Bethlehem, needs volunteers for a variety of tasks at the newly expanded holiday festival. Consider signing up for two to three volunteer shifts, Thursday through Sunday until Dec. 19. Minimum age 15, or 14 with adult.

·Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites is seeking volunteers to help at the Visitor Center and Goundie House with answering questions, monitoring the Trees of Historic Bethlehem, and restocking/bagging merchandise. Store is open seven days a week during the holiday season.

·Lehigh Valley Children’s Center is planning a holiday party for staff and their families on Dec. 11 at Lehigh University, Iacocca Hall. Up to 200 in attendance. Adults, individuals or groups needed to play holiday elves and conduct activities for the children. Shifts begin 8 a.m. with set up and end 3:30 p.m. with clean up.

·Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center needs volunteers for various Christmas holiday parties and activities. Assistance needed for transporting residents for scheduled entertainment 1-4 p.m. Dec. 10, 11, 13, 18, 20, 22 and 24. Christmas parties are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 16, 17 and 21. Bingo marathon begins 1-4 p.m. Dec. 27, 28, 29 and Jan. 1, 2022. Adults only. Groups welcome. All volunteers must follow Phoebe COVID-19 rules and wear a mask.

·Special Olympics, Berks, Bethlehem, and Carbon and Lehigh counties, is looking for regional and local team leaders to help with coordination of Special Olympics sporting activities ensuring the mission is met and policies/procedures are followed. Head coaches for swimming, basketball, golf, rhythmic gymnastics and bocce are needed to help athletes train and compete at their very best.

·The Salvation Army, Allentown, needs bell ringers for the Red Kettle Campaign at various locations, indoors or outdoors, in Allentown, to help raise the funds needed for year-round programs, such as the food pantry, holiday toys for families and sheltering the homeless. Two-, four- and six-hour shifts available Monday through Saturday through Dec. 24.

·Center For Animal Health and Welfare, Easton, is seeking volunteers to walk dogs, assist with morning cleanings, attend off-site events to promote the shelter, cat and dog enrichment and general shelter help.
