The Collingsworth Family rolled into Cherryville, Lehigh Township, in two tour buses for their ”A True Family Christmas” concert attended by an estimated 650 at Bethany Wesleyan Church. The concert included Christmas carols, sacred songs and anecdotes of the family on the road, at home and through the years. The multi-instrumentalist family performed individually, in various combinations and in six-part harmony. Matriarch Kim Collingsworth played a blazing “Sleigh Bells” on the baby grand piano. Patriarch Phil Collingsworth did a trumpet solo. Daughters Brooklyn and Courtney performed a violin duet. Son Phillip sang. Daughter Olivia played guitar. Some concert attendees drove from New Jersey and New York. The Collingsworth Christmas tour continues through Dec. 12, with stops including Kansas, Oklahoma, Georgia and Texas.
