Mildred Macasevich

Mildred “Millie” Macasevich, 94, of Whitehall and formerly of Bethlehem, died Nov. 27, 2021. She was the wife of the late Andrew A. Macasevich.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of Stojan and Mary (Beckage) Marinkovich.

She graduated from Liberty High School.

She was a homemaker.

She bowled with the Hungarian Catholic Club women’s bowling league. She attended the Northampton Senior Center.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey of Naples, Fla., and Andrew P. and fiancee Calli Ginthner of Northampton; a daughter, Dawn Saganowich and spouse Francis “Fritz” of Hokendauqua; five grandchildren, Amy Kern and spouse Benjamin, Rachel Paashaus and spouse Tim, Adam Macasevich, Alexa Cabrera and spouse Jose and Mackenzie Macasevich; eight great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, George Macasevich and spouse Florence of Bethlehem; nieces; nephews; and extended relatives.

She was predeceased by a son, Georgie.

There will be a visitation 10:30 a.m.-noon Dec. 11 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5300 Green Pond Road, Easton, 18045, with a service following. Consider wearing the color purple or your favorite Philly sportswear. A celebration of life picnic will occur in the spring of 2022.
