Gerald P. Wojciechowski

Gerald P. Wojciechowski, 82, of Lower Macungie Township, died suddenly Nov. 29, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of Linda Dodson Wojciechowski for 20 years.

Born in Buffalo, N.Y., he was the son of Chester J. and Victoria (Sobocinski) of Buffalo.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.

He was employed in maintenance management at a number of area firms, including Air Products and Union Carbide, and retired after 14 years as the building maintenance manager at the Lehigh County Prison.

He was a founding member of the East Penn Lion’s Club and the Ancient Oaks Sports Committee and former president of Upper and Lower Macungie Baseball League.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, coaching youth sports and gardening.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Gary of Poquoson, Va., Wayne with Denise of Blandon; Thomas with Tiffany Audette of Bethlehem and Mark with Heidi of Blandon; a daughter, Laureen with Patrick Lake of Chelmsford, Mass.; a daughter-in-law, Gail; four stepchildren, Laurie with Eric Flenner of Culver City, Calif., Drew with Karen Sterner of Pottstown, Jonathan with Karen Sterner of Barto and Kathryn Renner of Minneapolis; nine grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and a brother, Michael of Buffalo, N.Y.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara; two sisters, Carol and Mary; and a brother, Jesse.
