George L. Tomasic, 92, formerly of Hokendauqua, died Nov. 24, 2021. He was the husband of the late Stella (Babiak) Tomasic.

He was in the U.S. Air Force.

He played Minor League Baseball for the Griffin Tigers in Georgia. He was inducted into the Griffin Baseball Hall of Fame.

He was a professional aircraft mechanic.

He was a volunteer with Northern Valley EMS.

He is survived by two siblings, John and Margaret; and two children, David with Susan and Janice with Thom of Allentown.

He was predeceased by seven siblings, Mike, Andy, Joe, Tom, Liz, Mary and Tess.
