Dennis S. Knopf, 70, of Whitehall, died Nov. 21, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Constance (Keppel) Knopf for 47 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of Helen (Szep) and the late Stephen “Nabby” Knopf.

He was a self-taught contractor.

His body was donated to medical research.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Stacey and her husband Larry Bender and Tara Knopf; a son, Brian and his wife Bridget; three grandchildren, Campbell and Bo Bender and Stevie Knopf; a sister, Brenda and her husband Mike Wunsch; a nephew, Austin Wunsch; a goddaughter, Janelle Schulze; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
