Coplay Public Library: Open house, cookie swap are scheduled
The Coplay Public Library board of directors and staff invite the public to a holiday open house and cookie swap, set for noon-2 p.m. Dec. 11. Listen to holiday music, enjoy hot cocoa and view the library’s holiday tree made up of books. Children up to the age of 13 will receive books as gifts.
To participate in the cookie swap, bring at least two dozen cookies, separated into six cookies per bag.

Reminder: Early literacy storytimes are held 11-11:45 a.m. Thursdays, Dec. 9, 16, 23 and 30. There will a special craft or game as well.

The library is holding a basket raffle, featuring various holiday goodies, a tote bag from Bella Taylor, a winter-themed bear from Bearington Collection and more.
Tickets are available at the library.
The drawing will be held 2 p.m. Dec. 18. You do not need to be present to win.

Just go to the library’s website and use your library card number and password to access OverDrive in the E-Resources tab or download the Libby app to your device.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending facial coverings for all individuals indoors. For safety, we are requiring all visitors, including vaccinated individuals and children over 2, to wear masks while in the library.
Hand sanitizer and disposable masks are available, and Plexiglas shields have been installed at the computer stations.
Curbside services are still available.

The boards of the 12 Lehigh-Carbon Library Cooperative have adopted a policy not to charge fines for most overdue materials.

While we will make every effort to be open during the winter months, your safety is our primary concern.

The library’s open hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
