Gerald P. Wojciechowski

Gerald P. Wojciechowski, 82, of Lower Macungie Township, died suddenly Nov. 29, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of Linda Dodson Wojciechowski. They celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in May. He was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., he was the son of Chester J. and Victoria (Sobocinski), of Buffalo.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.

He was employed in maintenance management at a number of area firms, including Air Products and Union Carbide and retired after 14 years as the building maintenance manager at the Lehigh County Prison.

He was a founding member of the East Penn Lions Club and the Ancient Oaks Sports Committee and former president of the Upper and Lower Macungie Baseball League.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, coaching youth sports and gardening.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Gary, of Poquoson, Va.; Wayne (Denise), of Blandon, Thomas (Tiffany Audette), of Bethlehem; Mark (Heidi), of Blandon; a daughter Laureen (Patrick Lake), of Chelmsford, Mass.; a daughter-in-law, Gail; stepchildren Laurie (Eric) Flenner, of Culver City, Calif.; Drew (Karen) Sterner, of Pottstown; Jonathan (Karen) Sterner, of Barto, Kathryn Renner, of Minneapolis; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; a brother, Michael, of Buffalo, N.Y. He was predeceased by sisters, Carol and Mary; a brother, Jesse.
