Edna B. Balmat, 97, of Macungie, died Nov. 26, 2021. She was the wife of the late Jack Balmat with whom she shared 47 years of marriage until his death in 1992. Born in Indianapolis, Ind., she was a daughter of the late John and Martha (Morris) Balch. She grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa and Coral Gables, Fla.

She was a graduate of Purdue University where she met her husband.

She is survived by children, Bruce (Ruth), of Phoenixville, Leslie, of New Tripoli, Peter (Beth), of Twentynine Palms, Calif., David, of Dale, Texas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Jane Boulton; a son, Stephen and a granddaughter.
