Members of the Parkland High School National Honor Society sponsored an “Unhaunted House” Oct. 27 at the school.

Numerous events were offered allowing visiting children to try their hands at games of skill, mental challenges or activities, such as face painting.

The high school students exhibited a great deal of ingenuity in creating their nonthreatening costumes, whereas many of the children’s costumes represented rather nefarious characters.
