Leon C. Lichtenwalner, 85, of Emmaus, died Nov. 24, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
The husband of Jane M. (Miller) Lichtenwalner, the couple was married 46 years.
Born July 18, 1936, in Upper Macungie Township, he was the son of the late Carl T. and Helen M. (Litzenberger) Lichtenwalner.
He was a farm laborer at Seiple Farms, Northampton County, before retiring.
Before that, he was a groundskeeper at Lafayette and Cedar Crest colleges.
In 1953, his working career began on his family farm on Brookside Road, Macungie.
He also dug graves and foundations at Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown.
A member of Living Stone Fellowship, New Tripoli, he was a past president of Allentown Crime Watch and the Salvation Army, Allentown.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Noel C. Lichtenwalner of Fogelsville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters Carol Ann Lichtenwalner and Doris J. Marsteller.
