Robert W. Frey, 80, of Slatington, died Nov. 17, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Kratzer) Frey for 58 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clifford and Arlene (Shoemaker) Frey.

He was an airman 1st class in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 until 1963.

He was an electronics and high math instructor for 20 years by Lincoln Technical Institute of Allentown before retiring in 2003.

He was a member of Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

He and his wife volunteered for Lehigh County Meals on Wheels for several years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Kathleen L. Blum and her husband Paul Lester of Raleigh, N.C., Kimberly L. and her husband Edward Szerencsits of Coplay and Kelly L. and her husband Randall Kline of Coplay; a brother, Raymond Frey and his wife Jacqueline of Ocean City, Md.; a sister, Nancy and her husband Theodore Strauss of Slatington; seven grandchildren, Sean, Chelsea, Brianna, Austin, Alexa, Shawna and Kadin; and two great-granddaughters, Rylee and Teigan.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen L. Frey-Young.
