Kathleen Chimarys, of Northampton, learned to knit at Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1960 and, today, uses her skills to craft a line of knitted mice in various costumes. Many resemble the characters from the book Mouseton Abbey. It takes about eight hours to knit each mouse, Chimarys said.
Entrepreneur Ron Gotzon, a U.S. Army veteran from Northampton, displays a small sample of the 61 different models of bird houses he constructs and sells, along with a line of fishing lures. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and handmade.
