Calvin R. Dech Jr., 83, of Macungie, died Nov. 13, 2021, at home. He was the husband of Sylvia A. (Schuster) Dech. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Calvin R. Sr. and Mary E. (Valek) Dech.

Prior to retiring he was an auto mechanic for the former Jack Dankel Chevrolet and Allentown Mazda and Volvo.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Alan S. and his wife, Tammie, Darrel R., Gary S. and his wife, Cathy; a daughter, Debra and her husband, Thomas Jenkins; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Delores Kelly and a brother, Kenneth.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
