Bertha E. Blose, 90, of Allentown, died on Nov. 20, 2021, in Heather Glen Senior Living, Upper Macungie Township.
Born Oct. 28, 1931, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. Blose Sr. and Emma M. (Sauer) Blose.
She graduated from the first class of Parkland High School, Class of 1950.
She was a secretary at Air Products and Chemicals Inc., Trexlertown, for eight years before retiring in 1996.
Before that, she was a receptionist for Dr. Thomas Ruddell in Allentown and a clerk at Lehigh Valley Hospital Labs.
She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, where she was a member of the choir and quilters group.
A former member of First Reformed Church, Tampa, Fla., and UCC Greenawalds, South Whitehall, she was a past member of The Red Hat Society, the Boutique at the Rink, and the Air Products Chorus.
Her survivors include a brother Maurice A. Blose of Schnecksville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings Doris Menges, and Earl, Eugene, Edgar and Walter Blose.
