Gov. Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township, will be hosting a holiday history festival event 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 4 and 5.

The two-day event features historic crafters who explain their work as you watch or participate and juried artisans who offer quality crafts for sale.

Outside, join colonial and Civil War encampments, warming campfires and Christmas in the field, historic costumes, early rifles and powder horns.

Reminder: Allen Township and East Allen Township municipal buildings will be closed Nov. 25 and 26 for Thanksgiving.

Zion’s Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road, is celebrating a musical Christmas and organ dedication ceremony 3:30 p.m. Dec. 12. Critically acclaimed organist Aram Basmadjian will be featured.
