SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK, Nazareth, is packing food boxes each month for nearly 2,500 seniors in six counties. Many volunteers are needed to help assemble boxes, pack boxes with food and loading packages. Three-hour shifts occur between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 18 and 21. Minimum age 16 with parent. THE SALVATION ARMY CHILDREN’S SERVICES, Allentown, is hosting its annual Christmas party for foster families on Saturday, Dec. 11. At the party, Santa will bring each child a special gift.
