PRESS PHOTOS BY DANA GRUBB The 11th annual Tucker's Toy Run, held Nov. 6 by the Lehigh Valley Community Benefit, is in the books as another successful event delivering well over 5,000 toys to the St. Luke's University Hospital network for pediatric patients. Organizer Rick Nauman said about 800 riders participated starting in Northampton at the Tri-Boro Sportsman Club and cruising past the St. Luke's campus in Fountain Hill. Instead of the usual motorcycle prize raffle, this year's event featured a top cash prize award of $20,000 and ten $1,000 prizes. The raffle is limited to 4,000 tickets and in combination with the ride is the largest fundraiser of the year for Lehigh Valley Community Benefit, Nauman said. The impact of COVID had organizers concerned but “the biker community really came together and overwhelmed us with their support,” Nauman added. The ride is done in memory of biker Tucker Stuart who died in a motorcycle crash in 2011.
