Betty J. Bittner, 90, of Kutztown, died Nov. 10, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the widow of Richard G. Bittner.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late John and Flora (Koch) Thomas.

She was a domestic worker in the Lehigh Valley for many years and also worked for the former Mohr’s Orchards for 10 years.

A member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, she taught Sunday School for many years.

She was also a Den Mother for Boy Scout Troop 61 at Ziegels Union Church.

Her survivors include children Bruce Bittner (Linda), Wade Bittner and Peggy DeWitt (Richard), all of Kempton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
