Alfred C. Knoedler Jr. 76, of Center Valley, died peacefully Nov. 9, 2021, surrounded by his loving family, in his home.

He and his wife, Linda J. (Ringer) Knoedler, were married 52 years.

Born Aug. 21, 1945, in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Alfred C. Knoedler Sr. and Margaret C. (Kuronya) Knoedler.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

He was a truck driver at JBM Mechanical, Nazareth, from 2002-13. Before that, he was an assembly line worker at Mack Trucks Inc. from 1969-99.

He was a member of Saucon Lodge 567, F.&A.M., Coopersburg.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Alfred C. III of Center Valley, David W. Knoedler (Terri) of Andreas, Colette M. Stauffer (Michael) of Allentown, and Kate C. Crouthamel (Terry) of Allentown; grandchildren Tiffany, Tia, Allan, Derek and Travis Knoedler, Peyton, Riley and Michael Stauffer, Claudia and Lilia Crouthamel; eight great-grandchildren; cousins Richard Knoedler and Carol Brosious, both of Bethlehem.
