Parkland cross country runner Paul Abeln concluded a fine season last Saturday at the PIAA Cross Country Championships held in Hershey, Pa.
Abeln, a sophomore, finished the course in 18:14, good for 187th place. Abeln was praised by coach Stephen Ott for his development and leadership during the season. He finished 11th at the league meet with a 17:32 time, and 15th in districts with a 17:45 mark.
