Two new police officers took the oath of office in Salisbury Township.
District Judge Michael J. Pochron administered the oath of office to Kyle Sabulsky and Kyle Watson at the Nov. 10 Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners meeting in the township municipal building.
Salisbury Township Chief of Police Kevin Soberick presented each officer with their badges after the officers were sworn in.
“I’m very excited that we have the two positions filled with two excellent candidates,” Soberick said to commissioners.
The vacancies in the township police department were the result of the promotion of Soberick from sergeant to chief in 2019 and the resignation of an officer in 2021.
