Thanksgiving will soon be here, which means parent/teacher conferences and early dismissals.
Salisbury Elementary School will have a 1:15 p.m. dismissal Nov. 18,19, 22, 23 and 24.
Salisbury Middle School will have a 12:15 p.m. dismissal Nov. 22, 23 and 24.
All Salisbury schools will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 25, 26 and 29.
When SES students return to school Nov. 30, the PTO Holiday Shoppe will be starting up. An envelope and schedule of when your student’s class will attend was sent home with students.
SES is holding a family math night 6-7 p.m. Dec. 8. Families will learn and play new fun math games together and will leave with materials to play at home. There will be complimentary pizza and hot dogs, a PTO sponsored bake sale and basket raffle. An email was sent Nov. 8 with a link to register for this event. Registration is required by Nov. 25 to make sure there are enough supplies.
Salisbury Township yard waste drop off sites are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Franko Farm will be open Nov. 18 and 20. This will be the last week the Franko drop off will be open for the year.
The Devonshire site will be open Nov. 22 and 27 (closed on Nov. 25). This will be the last week Devonshire will be open for the year. Grass is no longer accepted at the Devonshire site this season. If you have grass to dispose of, use the Franko Farm drop-off.
Leaf collection will continue until the middle of December in Salisbury Township. Place loose leaves along the curb.
