Lehigh Elementary School’s Scholastic book fair continues through Nov. 19. Students have been shopping this week during their library class.

Lehigh Elementary fifth-grade students are partnering with Garden City Greenhouses in North Catasauqua to sell poinsettias and other holiday greens. The sale will continue through Nov. 30. No late orders will be accepted.

Order forms, with a check made payable to Lehigh Elementary PTA, can be sent back to school in an envelope labeled PTA Poinsettia Sale.

The students who sell will receive credit toward the class trip. All other sales will benefit the trip general fund.

Once the sale is finalized, coupons will be sent home with students and can be redeemed at Garden City.

Northampton Area School District elementary schools will have virtual parent-teacher conferences 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 22 and 23. A link to sign up through the parent portal was sent beginning Nov. 8.

Elementary students will not have school on these days.

NASD will be closed Nov. 24-29 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Schools will reopen Nov. 30.

Kick off your holiday season by seeing Pennsylvania Classical Ballet Academy’s performance of “The Nutcracker” at the Roxy Theatre, 2004 Main St., Northampton, 7 p.m. Dec. 11 and 2 p.m. Dec. 12. The ballet company is also located in Northampton and has several NASD students in its program.
