HOLIDAY HOPE CHESTS needs volunteers to donate wrapped shoeboxes filled with age-appropriate items for Lehigh Valley’s children in need. Suggested gift lists are provided on the website. NORTHEAST COMMUNITY CENTER, Bethlehem is seeking Spanish speaking tutors to assist students during the After-School Homework Club 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. MILLER-KEYSTONE BLOOD CENTER, Allentown needs volunteers at the Cedar Crest Donor Center to give out snacks with a smile while monitoring donors to be sure they are doing well after donating. The two shifts available are from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturdays, or from 7:30-11 a.m. on Mondays. This does require a 1.5-hour orientation and (free) PA state clearances. No community service hours.
