Stephen V. Pesola, 72, of Northampton, died November 5, 2021, at his residence. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late John G. and Margaret C. (Sontak) Pesola.

He was a 1967 graduate of Liberty High School.

He was, since 1970, a police officer for the City of Bethlehem for 31 years. He worked in the same capacity for the Lehigh Valley-Northampton Airport Authority for 17 years.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Easton.

He is survived by a brother, John J. (Sandra M.) Pesola of Hellertown; ex-wife, Gloria A. Pesola of Georgetown, Texas; a stepson, Brian T. (Susan Bates) Remmel of Austin, Texas; three stepgrandchildren, Caden B. and Evan F. Remmel and Lilly Bates; long-time girlfriend, Diane C. Faryna of Walnutport; a nephew, James (Jenifer) Agentis III of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and a niece: Danielle Agentis of Allentown.

He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret M. Butryn.
