Laurance G. “Larry” Herbert, 78, of Macungie, died Nov. 4, 2021, after battling cancer. He was the loving husband of Marilyn (Schein) Herbert. He was the son of the late Dr. John Frederick Herbert and Ruth Herbert.

He served in the Air Force.

He was retired after working several jobs in his lifetime.

He was a member of Longswamp Lions Club, a member of the Lehigh Blue Lodge and the Allentown Scottish Rite and a member of the East Penn Order of the Eastern Star.

His passion was doing woodworking and playing and taking care of his dogs.

He was a member of Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.

He is survived by his wife; nieces, nephews, cousins, second cousins and his dog, Chloe.
