Doors open at 6 p.m. The Outlaws, founded in Tampa, Fla., is a Southern Rock band best-known for the 1975 hit, “There Goes Another Love Song,” and extended guitar jam, “Green Grass and High Tides,” from the band’s self-titled 1975 debut album. The band also had a hit with its 1980 cover of the Stan Jones’ classic, “(Ghost) Riders in the Sky.” The band’s first three albums, “The Outlaws,” “Lady In Waiting” and “Hurry Sundown,” also included the hits, “Knoxville Girl” and “Freeborn Man.” The group released “It’s About Pride” (2012) and “Legacy Live,” a double album (2016). The Southern Rock band is best-known for the early 1980s hit singles, “Hold On Loosely” and “Caught Up in You,” and other hits in 1980s and early 1990s, including “You Keep Runnin’ Away,” “If I’d Been the One,” “Back Where You Belong,” “Teacher, Teacher,” “Like No Other Night,” “Second Chance” and “The Sound of Your Voice.” Other releases include “Resolution” (1997), “A Wild-Eyed Christmas Night” (2001) and “Drivetrain” (2004). John Waite, 8 p.m. Nov. 12, Mauch Chunk Opera House, 14 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe. Doors open at 7 p.m. The English musician, who has released 10 studio albums as a solo artist, is best-known for his 1984 hit, “Missing You,” which went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. As lead vocalist for the rock bands, The Babys, he had the hits, “Isn’t It Time” (1977) and “Everytime I Think of You” (1979), and Bad English, “When I See You Smile” (1989).
