Picture retake day at Sheckler Elementary School will take place Nov. 11.

Hartzell’s Pharmacy is hosting a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccine clinic, for children ages 5-11, 2-4:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the fire station at the Catasauqua Municipal Complex, 90 Bridge St. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered.

A parent or guardian must be present. Parents/guardians will need to choose the option for scheduling for “only my children or dependents.” Parent information as the guardian is needed to complete the profile. You may then “add others” to the appointment to add any additional eligible children.

Sheckler Elementary will be closed Nov. 12 for a teacher in-service day. Students will return Nov. 15.

Sheckler students will have early dismissal 11:45 a.m. Nov. 19 for parent-teacher conferences. There will be no meals served on this day.

Winter coats, hats and gloves will be offered 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 20 at the Catasauqua Area School District Administration Office, 201 N. 14th St. Those who are interested must provide proof of residency.
