Pearl Margaret Wingrove, 96, died Oct. 31, 2021. She was the wife of the late Arnold C. Wingrove.
She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Susie (Rutherford) Meyer.
She spent her entire working career for the federal government as a secretary. After retiring, she became an avid poet and writer. She had more than 40 poems published in anthologies and wrote two books and many short stories in magazines and newspapers.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Allentown.
She is survived by a son, Robert and his wife Kathy; a daughter-in-law, Helen; a granddaughter, Jeannie and her husband Chris Muthard and their son Matthew; a granddaughter, Dorothy and her husband Tim Reeves and their children Joey, Autumn, Bradley and Brandon; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Paul; and three siblings.
Services are private.
