Joseph George Bauer, 71, of Whitehall, died Oct. 2, 2021.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Rudolph and Susan (Cuth) Bauer.

He was a 1968 graduate of Whitehall High School. He attended the Taylor School of Business, Philadelphia, until 1970.

He was in construction with PP&L Electric and worked at the record center and Buxmont locations for 42 years.

He was a lifelong racing pigeon flyer with Lehigh Mountain Combine through the Northampton, Mingle and Bangor pigeon clubs.

He is survived by a son; a daughter-in-law; two grandchildren; sisters and their families; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

There will be a calling hour 10-11 a.m., followed by a memorial service 11 a.m., Nov. 13 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
