Hokendauqua: 5-K, fun run are planned
Northampton Area High School’s Distributive Education Clubs of America will hold a Frosty 5-K event, benefiting National Eating Disorder Association, 10 a.m. Nov. 21 on the Ironton Rail Trail. There will also be a kids’ fun run, limited to ages 10 and under, starting 11 a.m. There is a price difference for these two races.
Registration and number pickup will begin 9 a.m. at Saylor Park, 245 N. Second St., Coplay.
A long-sleeve T-shirt will be given to all participants in the regular 5-K race, and a goodie bag will be given to all those participating in the half-mile kids’ fun run.
This event, held rain or shine, has awards for the overall male and female winners, plus the top three males and females in each age groups, for the 5-K.

Reminder: Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church’s holiday craft and quilt fair is planned for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 13 at the church, 3355 MacArthur Road.
There will be tables inside and outside. Masks are required indoors.

The bus will leave Whitehall 2 p.m. and will depart the gardens 10 p.m.

Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church is planning its Christmas Journey event. Members of the church will display the story of the travels of Mary and Joseph, the birth of Jesus and the shepherds, angels and wisemen who came to see him.
Walk around and see live sheep, goats and alpaca 3-4 p.m. Dec. 19. There will be a lighted drive-thru event with costumed participants 6-7:30 p.m. Dec. 19. There will be a second lighted drive-thru 6-7:30 p.m. Dec. 23.
