Gregory John Wolfer, 75, of Northampton, died Oct. 29, 2021, in his home.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Julia (Bertoni) Wolfer.

He was in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

He was the owner/operator of Wolfer’s Service Station from 1963 until he retired in 2002.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Holy Name Society, the American Legion Post 353, Catholic War Veterans Post 454, Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714 and the Northampton Recreation Center for many years.

He is survived by a sister, Christine Durney and her husband William; two brothers, John P. Wolfer and his wife Michele and Joseph J. Wolfer; nieces; nephews; and a best friend, James Stanz.
