Dawn N. Miller, 76, formerly of Trexlertown, died Sept. 3, 2021, in Gainesville, Fla.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Erna (Oswald) Miller.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from LaSalle College, Philadelphia and a Master of Arts degree from Ryder College, Lawrenceville, N.J.

She then earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida, Gainesville.

She specialized in wildlife care and later established the Eye of the Eagle Wildlife Sanctuary in Newberry, Fla.

Her survivors include daughters: Tami Smith Belasco of Tampa Bay, Fla., and Danielle Belasco, Gainesville; four grandsons; her aunt, Anna Lou (Bear) Oswald of New Tripoli; and four cousins.
