With mail-in votes still to be counted, the Lehigh County Voters Registration Office shows incumbent Lehigh County Executive Phillips M. Armstrong, a Democrat, with an unofficial 36,265 votes for 51.74 percent of the total votes cast in the 161 precincts. Republican Glenn Eckhart, garnered an unofficial 33,752 votes for 48.16 percent of the vote.

It should be noted, however, several local media outlets on Wednesday morning gave the unofficial win to Eckhart.
