The Catasauqua girls and boys cross country teams concluded their 2021 seasons last Thursday at the District 11 2A cross country championships held at DeSales University.
The girls squad finished with 271 points with a 25:37 time, good for 11th place. The boys finished with 505 points and in 17th place.
Sophomore Alivia Bear was the top runner for the ladies, registering a 23:12 time good for 33rd place. Kaylee Weidaw was the next Catasaqua runner, claiming 47th place in a 24:18 time. Ashley Ritter, Lucy Brubaker and Bronwyn Pacchioli completed the Rider contingent.
Junior Trevor Regits topped the boys team, finishing in 21:44 good for 98th place. Behind Regits on the Catasauqua roster was Jaryn Hartranft, who took 101st place in 22:19. Jaydon Reynolds was the next at 104th place. The final three Catty runners - Cole Brown, Jared Schneck and Gavin Cunningham - finished in 111th, 112th and 113th place.
