Donald Dennis Bundra

Donald Dennis Bundra, 88, of Orefield, died Oct. 17, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Rose M. (Montagner) Bundra for 67 years.

Born in Ormrod, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Margaret M. (Haas) Bundra.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was aboard the USS Burdo (APD-133) during the Korean War. He played clarinet and saxophone in the Navy band.

Before retiring, he was a pipe fitter and steamfitter for Steamfitters Local Union 420 for 35 years.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown.

He coached Little League Baseball for the Lehigh County Youth Association Bulldogs in the 1970s.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Dennis and his wife Linda of Orefield, Thomas of Alburtis, Daniel and his wife Sharon of Whitehall and Joseph and his wife Holly of Allentown; a daughter, Bonita and her husband Duane Miller of Salisbury Township; a brother, Leonard of Florida; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Rondish; and a daughter-in-law, Stacy Morane.

There will be a burial with military honors 10:30 a.m. Nov. 6 at Highland Memorial Park, 1441 Roth Ave., Allentown, 18102.
