Lower Lehigh AARP will meet for its monthly meeting noon at Macungie Memorial Park, main building – lower level, 50 Poplar St. New members are always welcomed. For more information, call Jack at 610-966-4996.

Nov. 6

Annual Holly and Ivy craft show 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lehigh Christian Academy, 1151 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. The craft show features handcrafted items from more than 80 crafters and vendors, a “Little Shoppers” boutique shop for kids and homemade baked goods. Admission and parking are free.

Lehigh Valley Health Network will host its 24th annual free drive-thru flu shot clinic at Coca-Cola Park, 1050 Ironpigs Way, Allentown, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 7. LVHN is partnering with area food banks and shelters to accept donations of unexpired, non-perishable food items during each of the drive-thru sessions. Food donations are optional. Those choosing to donate food are urged to check expiration dates and bring items that have not expired and are non-perishable. Volunteers also will be collecting items such as diapers and personal hygiene products. Donations will help those in need. Those participating in the flu shot program must complete a consent form for each person in a vehicle and wear a mask and loose-fitting clothing for the shot to be administered in the arm for those 2 years and older and in the leg of children under 2 years old. A standard dose of flu vaccine will be given to those 6 months to 64 years of age. Those 65 and older will be offered the senior vaccine. Forms may be found at the website lvhn.org/flushot. Scouting for Food drive 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township municipal building, 5671 Chestnut St.

Old Zionsville United Church of Christ, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville, will host its 24th annual bazaar and filled basket auction 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come browse through the crafters and vendors, check out the auction baskets and buy tickets for a chance to win your favorites. And remember to check out the bake sale. Lunch will not be served this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Nov. 17

Alburtis Area 55+ seniors will hold their monthly meeting at their winter location, The Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, beginning noon. Attendees should enter in rear of church. Join the fun social gathering a potluck luncheon followed by bingo. Bus trips are held throughout the year. For more information, call Jack at 610-966-4996.

Nov. 30

Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society quarterly meeting will be held 7 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township Building. Larry Roeder, editor of Town & Country, will present the program, “Whistle Stops – Stations along the Perkiomen Railroad.” Ride along the rails of the Perkiomen Raillroad from Collegeville, Montgomery County, to Emmaus in Lehigh County and visit the different train stations along the way. Everyone is welcome to attend.
