Laky said he was busy in the early hours of the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. take back period, but there were sparse drop offs in the afternoon.

Supported by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency, drug give back programs are held across the country in the spring and fall. The program offers consumers an alternative to putting the drugs in refuse containers or flushing them into a municipal sewage system. DEA collects and incinerates the drug in a safe manner.
