Helen L. Stewart, 84, of Lebanon, died Oct. 19, 2021, in WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

Born May 29, 1937, in Bellefonte, Centre County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Vera M. (Foster) Stewart.

She was employed at Hershey Chocolate Factory for many years before retiring.

She started the deaf ministry in 1962 at the Assembly of God Church, Cleona, Lebanon County, where she pastored for many years. Her survivors include sisters Lois Krebs of Bellefonte, and Shirley Hixon and her husband, Wayne, of Lock Haven; and seven nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Nov. 1 at Freedom Life Church, 113 Sunset Acres, Milesburg, PA 16853. Following the service, all are invited to join the family for a lunch reception. Expressions of sympathy may be made at heintzelmancares.com.
