FBI officials announce latest Top 10 fugitive

Federal Bureau of Investigation officials recently named Octaviano Juarez-Corro to its list of top 10 fugitives and are offering a reward for information on his whereabouts.

According to a media release, Juarez-Corro is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of two individuals and the attempted murder of three others at a picnic in Wisconsin in 2006.

Juarez-Corro’s actions are detailed as follows:

On May 29, 2006, Juarez-Corro allegedly arrived at South Shore Park where a large picnic was underway. Among the picnic guests were Juarez-Corro’s estranged wife and young daughter.

Juarez-Corro allegedly demanded to see his daughter. His estranged wife told him to leave. Juarez-Corro allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot at his estranged wife as well as members of her family and friends who were at the picnic.

Five people were shot and two were fatally wounded, according to FBI officials.

Juarez-Corro allegedly left the park after the shooting, is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to officials.

According to his wanted poster, a felony arrest warrant for Juarez-Corro was issued June 1, 2006. A federal arrest warrant was issued the following day.

The addition of Juarez- Corro to the FBI Top 10 Fugitive list was made Sept. 8.

Juarez-Corro is described as 5-feet 5-inches to 5-feet 7-inches tall and between 180 and 200 pounds. He speaks English and Spanish. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of Juarez-Corro.
